UAE Labour Law 2022

  • UAE Labour Law 2022 is implemented in February 2022. 
  • There are many new laws are introduced plus revision in OLD Laws.
  • Now Maternity Leave is increased to 60 Days. 
  • New Employment Contract is for 3 years Fixed. 
  • Now there is no need to sign the separate non-competition letter. It is made the part of employment agreements now.
  • Salary has to be paid on right time and it should not be made late. 
  • Just 15 days to employer if he has terminated the employment contract, for cancelling the VISA and paying the Dues. 
  • Employment Contract has been the part of employment. Therefore it is made more clear and accurate. 
  • 8 Working Hours as per the standard Employment Contract.
  • 14 Days notice is required when employee is on probation now. 
  • Part Time workers will also take the gratuity. 
  • Employment Contracts will be only one, there is no more unlimited contract. 
  • After COVID-19 the new policies have been introduced and lodged. Now employees can be hired on number of work plans like part time, half time, quarter time etc.
